Trinity Guild Titans – 2025 Highlights Report
The Titans have enjoyed a fantastic run of events this year, showcasing their growth, team spirit, and love for the game.
In May, the team played a spirited match against the Oxford Wolves at Chinnor Rugby Club, just before the Chinnor vs Coventry fixture. The players demonstrated great sportsmanship, supporting one another and playing with enthusiasm and unity.
Following that, the Titans made a vibrant appearance at Tag Fest, where their new mascot, Trinny, stole the show. Designed by Joe after a year without a mascot, Trinny made her debut in the mascot race and quickly became the talk of the event. Her presence added a fun and memorable touch to the day.
The players had a fantastic time at Tag Fest, with some even getting the opportunity to share how rugby at Trinity Guild has positively impacted their personal growth. Notably, a few of the players, including Ben, were featured on TV, bringing well-deserved attention to the team.
Looking ahead, a couple of Titans players will be undertaking their ERCA (England Rugby Coaching Award) qualifications this year. This step will empower them to help bring the joy of rugby to even more people in the community.

Martin Wheeler Fields (MWF)
At the AGM, there was a consistent message from our President, Chairman and Treasurer regarding the need to become financially sustainable in our new ground.
Two years ago, the membership voted at the AGM to call the new ground, Martin Wheeler Fields, recognising the enormous commitment of Martin to leading the Ground Committee in delivering the new facilities.
To maximise the appeal of MWF outside of the Club as a venue, we have launched social media in its name. Please follow these accounts to stay up to date!

We have successfully held Birthday Parties, Christenings, Christmas Parties and other celebrations at MWF.
Other rugby related events have also been held, including Cov & Mid-Warwickshire Committee meetings, RFU Facilities meetings, Warwickshire Women, Rugby Lionnesses and Coventry Corsairs.
On Saturday 28th June, we will be running our first live music event open to the general public – with The Covers Collective playing. We’ll gauge the success after the event and hope to make live music a regular fixture at MWF.
The calendar is beginning to fill up with further engagement parties and birthday celebrations – not forgetting our first Wedding Reception!
