We celebrate our 125th anniversary season and congratulate all of our players, former players, coaches, members, Vice Presidents, committee menbers and supporters on being part of this rich history.
The club was founded by young men connected with Holy Trinity Church on February 24th 1899, at the Old Grammar School in Bishop Street, Coventry, England.
It was proposed that we were originally called the Holy Trinity Young Men’s Guild and Bible Class Rugby Football Club, but the original Committee agreed on a shortened name of Trinity Guild Rugby Football Club.
The 'Guild' is the second oldest Club in the City, second only to Coventry R.F.C.
The aim of the club is - and has always been - to introduce new players to the game and give as many as possible the opportunity to play at the least expenditure.
With a thriving Mini and Junior section, Youth teams, Touch Union group, Multi-Ability Rugby section, Women’s Rugby Fit and a Men’s Rugby section, there is activity happening every day at the Guild!
This season will be extra special as we move to a new 15 acre ground and clubhouse in Baginton, Coventry.
Watch this space for special events happening throughout the season.
Today, Trinity Guild RFC is affiliated to The Rugby Football Union, Warwickshire R.F.U., Coventry & Mid Warwickshire R.F.C.
