Our Guild Touch Union section has been going from strength to strength this season, with a great turnout still being had week in, week out, despite what the weather throws at us!
Always fun to be had with quick ball play, non-contact games, and social drinks and snacks afterward. Whether it’s about rediscovering sport, honing your fitness or tapping into that inner warrior, Trinity Guild (Touch Union) is a fun and friendly environment for all social groups and playing abilities to get involved.
This is social fitness at its best! Our sessions are sociable and inclusive giving players the perfect opportunity to run out with friends and meet new people and become part of the second oldest Rugby Club in Coventry.
Trinity Guild RFC has been in existence for 125 years, the club was founded by young men connected with Holy Trinity Church on February 24th 1899, at the Old Grammar School in Bishop Street, Coventry, England. It was proposed that we were originally called the Holy Trinity Young Men’s Guild and Bible Class Rugby Football Club, but the original Committee agreed on a shortened name of Trinity Guild Rugby Football Club. The aim of the club is - and has always been - to introduce new players to the game and give as many as possible the opportunity to play at the least expenditure.
Our competitive subscription rate to play Touch Union is £12.50p per month which includes exclusive membership access to the club and playing facilities. With a thriving number of rugby sections including Touch Union there is activity happening every day at the Guild!
